A Merchant's Contribution Amount is a standard dollar value ($) that a Merchant Partner is willing to offer existing and potential customers through favordrop.

Think of it as a standard "loss leader" to further engage customers. Or, what $ amount are you willing to "absorb" in order to potentially bring customers in.

Where will this Contribution Amount be used or come into play? Depending on your pricing tier your Contribution Amount could be used in:

  1. Cross promotions with Corporate Partners (shared gifting)

  2. Retargeting promotions

Typically, the contribution amount you decide on for your restaurant will be listed in your Merchant Agreement Contract.

The minimum value for a contribution amount is $4.
